Overview

Brief review of medical necessity, LMNs, claim documentation, medical record keeping (SOAP), ICD-10, and CPT presented in the FUNDAMENTALS course. A review exercise will be presented to highlight the importance of prioritizing diagnosis codes on a claim to correctly and accurately "tell the story" of the patient encounter.
